Bug 26271894 Database Can Not Be Started Automatically After Fixing Permission Problem On Windows (Doc ID 2440201.1)

Last updated on APRIL 17, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Database - Standard Edition - Version to [Release 12.2]
Generic Windows

NOTE! This note is only applicable to Windows Platform.

Pre-existing database's file permissions are modified by DBCA when creating a new database via DBCA, hence the pre-existing database can't be started due to permission issue.

After fixing the permission issue for all the following directories/files, database can be started. However, the database can not be started automatically when Windows OS reboot.
