Extension of a BDA Cluster with BDD Enabled Fails at Step 9 with "Bdd::Run_bdd_installer/Exec [bdd_extend_prereq]" (Doc ID 2440687.1)

Symptoms

When running an extension of a BDA v4.5 (or higher cluster), the extension fails at Step 9 with the error below on the Big Data Discovery (BDD) node, (node 5 by default):

Error [9920]: (//bdanode05.example.com//Stage[main]/Bdd::Run_bdd_installer/Exec
[bdd_extend_prereq]/returns) change from notrun to 0 failed:
/opt/oracle/BDAMammoth/bdaconfig/tmp/bdd_extend_prereq.sh &>
/opt/oracle/BDAMammoth/bdaconfig/tmp/bdd_extend_prereq_<#>.out returned 1 instead of one of [0]
