Symptoms
When attempting to restart 2 down Data nodes, an error occurs on the other 2 up Data nodes:
- Data nodes 4 and 6 were shutdown
- Then attempted to start back up nodes 4 and 6
- Node 4 was starting well, going through the startphases
Changes
The PAUSE LCP protocol was introduced in Bug 19898269: RESTARTS BLOCKED BY LCP TO COPY META DATA.
