Symptoms
Problem Description

Replication will not refresh any longer after database came down for a cold backup.
I see this in alert log:
Errors in file <trace file name>
ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job <job number>
ORA-12008: error in materialized view refresh path
ORA-01089: immediate shutdown in progress - no operations are permitted
