A BI Publisher Report = Errors in the Alert Log: ORA-600[kdst_fetch0_1] (Doc ID 2455446.1)

Symptoms

In 12.1.0.2.0, a BI Publisher report fails with the following error in the alert log:

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kdst_fetch0_1], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []

 

The Current SQL Statement in the associated incident trace file shows:

SELECT statement with several AS definitions for column names,  followed by a list of objects to pull FROM

 

The Call Stack Trace in the same incident trace file shows:

Changes

 Started running with shared server connections instead of using dedicated connections.
