Symptoms

Accessing the HBase Browser raises:

IOError(_message='org.apache.hadoop.hbase.security.AccessDeniedException: org.apache.hadoop.hbase.security.AccessDeniedException:
Insufficient permissions (user=<user>, scope=default, params= [namespace=default,table=default:<TABLENAME>,... action=CREATE)\n\...

Where <user> can be any user trying to create an hbase table which does not have permissions to do so.
