Linux Environment : Maximum Length Of Hostname Exceeded Causing: ORA-12154 (Doc ID 2463151.1)

Symptoms

When customer was connecting to Server as EZ connect with Hostname greater than 64 Characters .Customer got Below Error

Error:

sqlplus username/password@abc-de-test-fg-oracle999-us.aaabbbcccddd.eee.fff.ggg.xxx.xxxxxxx.com:1521/orcldb

Error :ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified

Client Trace Error:

(669013440) [09-OCT-2018 21:23:19:307] nnfun2a: address for name "abc-de-test-fg-oracle999-us.aaabbbcccddd.eee.fff.ggg.xxx.xxxxxxx.com:1521" not found
