Symptoms


Patching Grid Infrastructure to 12.2 JULY 2018 RU using RHP failed with below error


[grid@rhpserver bin]$ rhpctl move gihome -sourcewc gi12201_0418_orcl -destwc GI12201_0718_orcl -batches "(node1),(node2),(node3)"
rhpserver.services.oraclecorp.com: Connecting to RHPC...
node1.services.oraclecorp.com: Executing root script on nodes [node1].

The 'clsecho' executable is unavailable at this point to print a translated message CLSRSC-178. Arguments to 'clsecho': NODENAME_LIST" "ROOTCRS_PATCHINFO" "127
The post patching cannot be run because the pre patching didn't complete successfully
PRGH-1057 : failure during move of an Oracle Grid Infrastructure home
PRCR-1200 : failed to execute the detached process
