MySQL Replica Does Not Replicate From Source And No Error Reported (Doc ID 2483755.1)

Symptoms

Replication replica appears regularly connected to the source, both SQL and IO thread are running, no error is reported in error log and from SHOW REPLICA STATUS; but the replica is not replicating changes regularly binlogged by the source.

Changes

The instance is running in a Virtual Machine, and Virtual Machine was migrated.
