For the purposes of this document, the following fictitious environment is used as an example
to describe the procedure:

Disk Group Name = +DATA

Performing RMAN restore recovery tests on a recovery server  with Oracle 11.2.0.4.0 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.5.

Launching a recovery on July 2, 2018 and everything goes fine until the recovery fails:
Oracle Error:
ORA-01547: warning: RECOVER succeeded but OPEN RESETLOGS would get error below
ORA-01152: file 1 was not restored from a sufficiently old backup
ORA-01110: data file 1: '+DATA/......

RMAN-06025: no backup of archived log for thread 1 with sequence 64805 and starting SCN of 319261660369 found to restore

the strange thing is that if we review this "archive" it is February:
