SQL Statements Ignored When Using curs.execute() to Execute Procedure (Doc ID 2507566.1)

If you use curs.execute() to execute a MySQL procedure and there are "select" statements inside the procedure. SQL statements in the procedure will be ignored.

For example, you want to run the procedure below using Python Connector curs.execute() method:

The DDL statements will not be executed inside the procedure.
