- After copying the statistics from one partition to another using DBMS_STATS.COPY_TABLE_STATS, the estimated cardinality(E-Rows) is incorrect.
- DBMS_XPLAN.DISPLAY_CURSOR output shows the E-Rows as 1 for the partitions for which the statistics are copied from the source partition.
- Optimizer generates sub-optimal plan due to wrong estimation for the partition(s) to which the statistics are copied.
Copy the statistics from one partition to another.
