Symptoms

A replication replica cannot continue replicating from its Source.

One such example is that after being stopped for a long ( or longer than anticipated ) timeframe, the BINARY LOGS required on the Source have been purged.

Changes

There are any number of reasons a DB could encounter irreconcilable problems and must be re created.
