12.2 and Later Releases: How to Modify Group Write Permission of the Listener Log (Doc ID 2525028.1)

Symptoms

When modified permission of listener.log on 12.2 RAC to let group have write permission as below, write permission of group is always removed when listener.log
has new message entry.

The directory and listener.log are managed by ADR.

 

Changes

Modified group write permissions of listener.log using chmod command.
