Exachk Hangs for 12.2 Databases On Step - 'Checking Status of Oracle Software Stack - Clusterware, ASM, RDBMS' (Doc ID 2526512.1)

Symptoms

The exachk is taking forever on step 'Checking Status of Oracle Software Stack - Clusterware, ASM, RDBMS'.

 ./exachk -v
EXACHK VERSION: 18.4.0_20181129

+ Exadata debug log shows it is getting stuck at below point.

Select databases from list for checking best practices. For multiple databases, select 60 for All or comma separated number like 1,2 etc [1-61][60]. 60

Searching out ORACLE_HOME for selected databases.

Checking Status of Oracle Software Stack - Clusterware, ASM, RDBMS   <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

 

+ 12.2 database alert log shows below error :-

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [ipc_recreate_que_2], [1], [0], []

 

+ max locked memory set for root user is very less.

    Check the memlock (max locked memory) setting for root user with "ulimit -a".

# ulimit -a

file locks (-x) unlimited
