32-bit OraOLEDB Driver Can't Retrieve All Records When a Query Returns Large Amount of Records (Doc ID 2532565.1)

Last updated on MAY 22, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Provider for OLE DB - Version and later
Microsoft Windows (32-bit)
Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)

OraOLEDB driver can't retrieve all records from a query which returns large amount of records.
For example, in case the rowsize of the query is 29,528 bytes and the query returns 82,970 records, OraOLEDB can retrive only 27,800 records or so.

This problem is reproduced using 32-bit driver only.
It seems that the driver suddenly abandon to fetch records and returns EOF to the application.

Following test case can be used to reproduce the issue.

Upgraded to 12.2 or later version, or applied the following versions of WINDBBP.
