Node 2 Migration and Recommission on Oracle Big Data Appliance V4.11 and Higher (Doc ID 2536064.1)

Purpose

This note provides the details to migrate Node 2 of the cluster and then recommission Node 2.  These steps would be used if the roles on Node 2 are migrated to newer hardware.  It is not possible for Node 2 recommission to follow Node 2 migration if Node 2 has failed. In that case Node 2 needs to be reimaged and reprovisioned back into the cluster.

Note that Node 2 refers to the node with the Node 2 role.
