Symptoms
When executing datapatch only against the PDB OR upgrading the PDB inside a CDB,datapatch can fail with the below error-
Connecting to database...OK
Gathering database info...done
Note: Datapatch will only apply or rollback SQL fixes for PDBs
that are in an open state, no patches will be applied to closed PDBs.

CDB$ROOT is not in the PDBs to be processed but needs to be bootstrapped
Prereq check failed, exiting without installing any patches.

for information on how to resolve the above errors.
