Symptoms

It is been observed XML functions, while processing XML, consumed more time in OCI.

Below code is the case of concern here (loading a XML)

Note: Reducing XML functions such as XmlLoadDom, XmlFreeDocument and OCIXmlDbInitXmlCtx helps to improve performance but most of the time is consumed by XmlLoadDom.
