Goal
The goal of this note is to provide steps to restore missing Java objects that were unintentionally removed from MDSYS and ORDSYS schemas when doing a JVM removal or reinstall. Generally speaking, when performing a JVM removal using the standard removal procedure rmjvm.run(FALSE), only the objects in SYS should be removed. However, there are 3 methods (rmjvm.sql, rmjvm.run(TRUE), or using initjvm.sql to reinstall on a, existing bad JVM installation) that will do a FULL_REMOVAL and remove all java from the database, including the Java in the MDSYS or ORDSYS schemas, as well as, the Java objects in customer installed schemas. If these schemas were not backed up prior, then this note is provided in order to repair the ORDSYS and MDSYS schemas. It does not provide steps to reinstall other JVM dependent components or products such as OLAP or Oracle EBS (APPS).
