Symptoms
In the 8.0.16 MySQL Enterprise Backup log:
- First you most likely get a warning - WARNING: Redo log copy has not been completed correctly.
- Then you get a few errors
- ERROR: Failed to copy last checkpoint log
- ERROR: writing the end mark to ibbackup_logfile /path/to/ibbackup_logfile failed!
- System exits with "exit code: 2, Internal Error"
Changes
Upgraded to MySQL Enterprise Backup 8.0.16 and do an incremental backup.
