Purpose

When dealing with a failure in a Group replication environment, there are a number of recovery options available. It may on occasion be quicker to restore full HA by skipping a traditional iterative approach to recovery.

This Document covers the basic premises of this type of scenario and offers suggestions on when to skip ( or perform in parallel ) the investigative analysis and focus on the restore operation to reduce the TTR for the environment.
