Symptoms
Instance crashes are seen after ORA-07445 [kxfpbalo()] and (ORA-7445 [kxfpbrec()]. This issue is intermittent, sometimes occurring frequently, and sometimes taking a month or more to reoccur. The issue has been seen in RDBMS versions for 12.1, but not in 12.2 and higher.
