Symptoms

1>Backup of archivelog fails

RMAN> RUN {

   BACKUP ARCHIVELOG FROM SEQUENCE 1071290 UNTIL SEQUENCE 1103000 THREAD 4 DELETE INPUT FILESPERSET 8;

ORA-15113: alias name '2019_0' refers to a directory

2>Crosscheck Connected to Catalog fails with


failing with:
ORA-19633: control file record 169500 is out of sync with recovery catalog

 

3>Uncatalog command fails with below error

 

RMAN> CHANGE ARCHIVELOG '+<Diskgroup>/ORCL/ARCHIVELOG/2019_07' UNCATALOG;

using target database control file instead of recovery catalog
