ODA VM 12.2.1.4 - Server not booting up with new kernel after successful upgrade (Doc ID 2581018.1)

Symptoms

 ODA 12.2.1.4 patching. Server patching completed successfully without any issues. But server is not booting up with new kernel 4.1.12-112.16.8.el6uek.x86_64 . 

 Verified the below in DOM-0:

 1)All the New kernel files are available in /boot directory

 2) Restarted server multiple times but still server is booting up with old kernel

 3) Verified /boot/grub2/grub.cfg, it was having proper entries for new kernel and it is the first entry

But still server is booting up with old kernel by default.

Changes

 No recent changes apart from ODA 12.2.1.4 upgrade
