dba_feature_usage_statistics reports true for unified auditing though the Option Is Disabled (Doc ID 2582458.1)

Symptoms

In 12c database (be R1 or R2) Unified Audit usage is reported as TRUE. Even though it is never used or enabled.


SQL> SELECT Value FROM v$option WHERE parameter='Unified Auditing';

VALUE
----------------------------------------------------------------
FALSE

SQL> SELECT currently_used FROM DBA_FEATURE_USAGE_STATISTICS WHERE name='Unified Audit';

CURRE
-----
TRUE

 

And

-bash-4.1$ sqlplus
