Symptoms
When configuring log transport services for Streams Downstream capture, you may encounter this situation.
On the source database, the remote archive destination might to be specified as follows :
log_archive_dest_2 = 'SERVICE=TEST10.<DOMAIN> LGWR MANDATORY NOREGISTER
REOPEN=120'
However, an attempt to ship the log to the remote destination will fail with errors like :
The ERROR column in V$ARCHIVE_DEST shows ORA-01031 insufficient privileges.
