ODA 18.7 Patch Failure - GI (Grid) Update Fails On 1 Of 2 Nodes (Doc ID 2609234.1)

Symptoms

On : Oracle Database Appliance X5-2
VM-ODA_BASE ODA X5-2

ODA patch failure - grid update fails on 1 of 2 nodes

grid update fails on 1 of 2 nodes when applying 18.7.0.0.0 patchset with the following error
Error: Copy failed from '/tmp/oakpatch/gi/18.0.0.0.0/29757256/30097923/30223179/files/bin/crsctl.bin' to '/u01/app/18.0.0.0/grid/bin/crsctl.bin'... '

Attempted workaround to known issue but grid update still fails:

Initial update run on node 1 succeeded
update run on node 0 failed

Initial command run: oakcli update -patch 18.7.0.0.0 --server --local

Workaround commands run after reboot:

   # oakcli update -patch 18.7.0.0.0 --clean
   # oakcli disable startrepo -node 0
   # oakcli disable startrepo -node 1
   # oakcli update -patch 18.7.0.0.0 --server --local

  oakcli update -patch 18.7.0.0.0 --server --local
