A query on 2 partitioned tables with bitmap indexes fails with one of the predicates giving an ORA-14093 data type of expression incompatible with that of partitioning column If that predicate is removed (or forced to go for a FTS), keeping the other predicates, the query works.

 SELECT t2.c1,SUM(t1.c1) FROM table1 t1, table2 t2 WHERE ((t2.c2 > 50 AND t2.c2 < 70)) AND t1.d1 BETWEEN TO_DATE('20020101', 'YYYYMMDD') AND TO_DATE('20020224', 'YYYYMMDD') AND t1.c2 <> 0 AND t2.c2 = t1.c3 GROUP BY t2.c1 ORDER BY 2 DESC;

 If the where clause on t2.c2 that causes the error is removed, the query works fine.

If one of the two conditions is removed, the query works fine.
