Pro*C Raises Unexpected ORA-24373 While Fetching Record from a Table (Doc ID 2613687.1)

Pro*C code using Dynamic SQL Method 3 raises unexpected ORA-24373 error while it fetches record from an existent table after fetching record from a non-existent table. The first fetch raises
ORA-00942 as expected. However, the second fetch raises ORA-24373 even though the table exists in the database. For example, create the following two tables first.


Database is upgraded from pre-12cR2 version to or the code is executed on a newly installed database.
