19c Scheduler Agent Registration Fails (Doc ID 2630687.1)

Symptoms

On : 19.4.0.0.0 version, RDBMS

19c scheduler agent registration fails

When trying to register 19.4.0 scheduler agent with 19.4.0 database, one can get the following error:

schagent -registerdatabase <db_host> <db_http_port>
Agent Registration Password ? ************

Failed to get agent Registration Info from db: DB agent registration version is not supported for this agent

Both agent and database are patched with 19.4.0 release update



 

Changes

  While schagent registers successfully with 19.2.0.0.0 base release, it fails after applying 19.4 ARU.
