Opatch lsinventory fails to load the patch list. (Doc ID 2632214.1)

Symptoms

Applied the patch successfully and later not able to list down the applied patched from the inventory(using opatch lsinventory).

 

[oracle@<HOSNTAME01> OPatch]$ ./opatch lsinventory
[oracle@<HOSNTAME01> OPatch]$<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Not listing any patches.

.patch_storage contains all the applied patches.

[oracle@<HOSNTAME01>1 .patch_storage]$ pwd
/<ORACLE_HOME>/.patch_storage
