Symptoms

There  are triggers (After UPDATE,INSERT,DELETE) on the Materialized view. The triggers write  to another table.

Update statements on the materialized view, are triggered as inserts statements. 
The insert is failing with ORA-00001: unique constraint (<>) violated.
These triggers worked fine in 11204.

When the triggers fail to insert the rows into the third table, the insert into Materialized view is rolled back and refresh fails.

Changes

 Upgrade from 11204 to 18C.
