"Member Libiconv.so.2 Is Not Found In Archive" Error Message Is Generated When Execute An ORE Function (Doc ID 2642672.1)

Symptoms

Oracle R was installed success fully on the server. You are able to run library(ORE) successfully, and you are also able to connect the database ore.connect.
When you execute the ore.doEval function, you receive the following error:


ORA-06522: Could not load module /orasoft/app/oracle/product/12.2.0.1/lib/libR.so.
Dependent module /usr/lib/libiconv.a(libiconv.so.2) could not be loaded.
Member libiconv.so.2 is not found in archive
