AFD: ASM Filter Driver Commands Not Working During Environment Setup (Doc ID 2648601.1)

Symptoms

Attempt to 'label' disks fail. Using commands like: "asmcmd afd_label DATA1 /dev/nvme1n1p1 --init" always returns "No devices to be labeled." Commands like asmcmd afd_configure/asmcmd afd_state return nothing.

Unable to label devices even after adding entries to /etc/afd.conf and /etc/oracleafd.conf. This applies to both Oracle Restart and RAC.
