Symptoms

Fresh installation of 10g client .

make -f demo_proc.mk build EXE=sample1 OBJS=sample1.o builds the executable correctly.

make -f demo_proc.mk build_static EXE=sample1 OBJS=sample1.o errors with
MISMATCHED ABI FOR -LCLNTST10
