Symptoms

Unable to run queries against target database from OEM , using one of OEM user accounts, after upgrade to 12.2.

OEM is not giving any error codes for the failure either .

The target database was migrated to 12.2 database on Red Hat Linux, from 11.2.0.4 on Sun Solaris.

Able to execute queries against the old 11.2 database using the same OEM user account, without any issue.

OEM repository database (runs on ODA) as well as OMS has remained the same .

The permissions of the OEM user (in OEM repository database) which is trying to execute the SQL queries against target database has remained same.

When customer tries to execute a query , it errors out in 0 secs and the connection is not even getting to the target database.

However, they are successfully able to execute the same query against the same target database , without any issue as SYSMAN user in OEM.
