Goal

With the deprecation of FMW MapViewer 12.2.1.3, all subsequent patches to this product are distributed as the Map Visualization Component (MVC) of Oracle Spatial & Graph.  Starting with Oracle Database 12.2, the current MVC is shipped with each Release Update as a mapviewer.ear.zip file in the $ORACLE_HOME/md/jlib directory.  Deployment of the MVC is left to the user as directed in Note 2613932.1.
