ORA-12662 Proxy Ticket Retrieval Failed with DB Links in Kerberos Environments (Doc ID 2669271.1)

Symptoms

Database A is the source database on which the database link is created to access the data from Database B.

Kerberos authentication is enabled on both the databases.

A user can retrieve the data using the database link by connecting to Database A(directly)

If a client connects to the Database A and tries to fetch the data using the database link,the query fails with the following error:

SQL>select from dual@<DB link>;

     ORA-12662 proxy ticket retrieval
