ORA-07445 [lpu64encode()] or ORA-07445: [LPXMEMFREE()] causes Memory Corruptions when called with a buffer that begins with a '0' character.

Symptoms

You may observe that your Database stops responding at the same time daily when maintenance tasks start.
One observation may also be background processes reporting in the alert log that they did not start after 120 seconds.

Ultimately, Oracle generated an ORA-07445[lpu64encode()] or ORA-07445: [LPXMEMFREE() error.
