Username longer than 32 characters may lead to crash of the MySQL Server (Doc ID 2673706.1)

Symptoms

On version between 5.7.24 and 8.0.20, if a username is more than 32 characters , it may lead to crash of the server during authentication stage.

The username can one which was created directly in MySQL Server or be passed on to MySQL Server via LDAP/OS authentication plugins.
