On a BDA 4.12+ cluster, the Sentry plugin is failing at random times. When the plugin fails, users get random errors running hive load jobs:

4. Restart Sentry Service

5. Restart NameNodes (rolling)

No recent configuration changes have been made to Sentry plugin and there is no identifiable pattern of events that precedes the issue.
