How to Reduce the Size and Disk Space For COMMANDS_DETAIL.ibd and COMMANDS.ibd Tables on BDA (Doc ID 2679794.1)

Goal

On a BDA 4.12+ cluster, there is high space utilization due to the size of MySQL database and Audits files.   Several options have been tried to reduce the size of the disk space for MySQL objects including adding HDFS audit event filters, altering retention period for binary logs and setting expiration period to 7 days. These changes did not reduce the size of the COMMANDS_DETAIL.ibd and COMMANDS.ibd files.
