Symptoms

ORA-04031: unable to allocate 4120 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","unknown object","init_heap_kfsg","ASM extent pointer array");

Subsequently ASMB process fails and instance is restarted.

Memory component init_heap_kfsg grows inside shared pool as seen below:

Changes

Applied 12.2.0.1.200414RU which includes the fix for Bug 30173113.
