Symptoms
Using Oracle Database Gateway for ODBC connecting to MySQL database which stores it's information in Latin1 character set.
Oracle database is using UTF8.
The job submitted via DBMS Scheduler is storing in oracle database the incorrect char like below:

Data that needs to translated, the convert function doesn't seem to translate them correctly.
