Purpose

This troubleshooting note is designed to help Recovery Appliance Administrators and Database Administrators who may not have extensive networking knowledge in troubleshooting connectivity problems between hosts where protected databases run and the Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance or between Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliances when replication is being used.  The note is designed to help customers troubleshoot problems on their own, but if additional information is required refer to the "Diagnostic Information required to Troubleshoot Network Configuration Issues" on what information needs to be provided when opening an SR.
