Database Crashes with ORA-600 [1433] and/or ORA-600 [ksasnd_rel_1] After Shutting Down ZBA Appliance

Symptoms
On database version 12.1.0.2, instances began crashing with ORA-600 [1433] and/or ORA-600 [ksasnd_rel_1] several minutes after Oracle ZFS Backup Appliance (ZBA) was shut down. The ZBA was only used for RMAN backups and after the ZBA was shut down all shares were unmounted.
Two types of database crashes were observed:
1) ORA-600 [1433] from various DBWn (database writer) and TTn (redo transport) processes. A stack from a DBWn process would be similar to:
