Error Correction Extension for Oracle Database when Running E-Business Suite (EBS) Applications with Certain Cloud Services (Doc ID 2734312.1)

 Database Cloud Services running E-Business Suite (EBS) Applications 

EBS customers will receive additional, at no charge, Severity 1 fixes and Security Updates for Oracle Database when running on the following Oracle Database Cloud Services1: ExaCS-OCI, Gen 1 ExaCC, Gen 2 ExaCC, DBCS-OCI (VM), and DBCS-OCC.
The Error Correction end dates for EBS databases running on an eligible cloud service are:

31-Dec-2020: Extended Support for on OCI-Classic ends

31-Mar-2021: Extended Support ends for all databases on eligible cloud services

1-Apr-2021 to 31-Dec-2021: No charge, Severity 1 fixes and Security Updates for approved EBS databases (MDS2 fees are not required for EBS Databases running in eligible database cloud services noted above)

1-Jan-2022: End of Support for Oracle Database on all Cloud Services. There will be no more updates or fixes after 31-Dec 2021. Customers must upgrade to a supported database version by this date or migrate off cloud services.



1 ExaCS-OCI Classic and DBCS-OCI Classic are not eligible for this program. Support for on OCI-Classic ends 31-Dec 2020.

2 Additional MDS services such as Technical Account Manager and Upgrade Planning Workshop still require a paid MDS contract.



Customers must apply for this extension and provide a timeline and plan for upgrading to a supported release. Apply through your Oracle field representative.
