Insertion Of Multibyte Characters From SQL Prompt Turns To Junk (Doc ID 2750409.1)

Symptoms

DB:12.1.0.2

Insert script contains Umlaut characters for column values, when Insert script is executed from Unix SQL prompt on Unix database server. Umlaut characters are converted to junk characters. Try CONVERT function but not working
