.Net Application getting ORA-01017: invalid username/password error with ODP.NET Provider (Doc ID 2753162.1)

Symptoms

 ODP.NET application getting ORA-01017 error while using password with trailing Equal To (=) sign.
 For example, if the password of the database user is "xyz==" then the sample connection string from .net application could cause this issue is as below.

 

Changes

 Upgraded Oracle client 12.2 base to 12.2.0.1.200714 (Jul 2020) or later
